Youth Homes Auxiliary
COORDINATING COUNCIL

The Youth Homes Auxiliary Coordinating Council is the governing body of the Auxiliary, and consists of five elected officers, the chairpersons of Standing Committees, and Chapter Presidents. We are independent of Youth Homes, Inc. but work hand-in-hand with the Agency in helping the young people placed in our homes.

Council meets on the first Thursday of each month (except July and August). Currently meetings are held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 1924 Trinity Avenue, Walnut Creek.

At the meetings the Council hears reports from each elected officer, Standing Committee Chairperson, and Chapter President. They discuss mutual concerns, act on requests from the homes, and administer the Memorial/Honors Fund. Whenever possible, the Executive Director of Youth Homes, Inc., or his representative, attends and gives a report on the work of the Agency.

Formed in 1964, we were incorporated in 1992. We conduct our affairs under the terms of recently revised Bylaws and Standing Rules.
