Rich Smith has over 35 years of experience in human resources in a variety of Industries, including wholesale food distribution, durable goods manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare. He is currently Vice President, HR Strategy & Management for Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California. Before joining Kaiser Permanente, he held HR roles for several global organizations, including Pfizer, Mobil Corporation, and Union Carbide Corporation. Rich holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Oklahoma and a JD from the Quinnipiac University School of Law. In addition to Youth Homes, Rich sits on the boards of Alpha Community Education Initiative, Alpha West Empowerment Foundation, Inc., and Future Leaders Program.
