Giselle, born and still residing in the East Bay Area, earned her undergraduate degree in social work from Chico State University. She joined the Youth Homes team in 2016 and has worn many hats during her time serving our youth. Working as a residential counselor while she completed her master's degree in social work, Giselle then became an STRTP clinician, transitioned to being an intensive care coordinator this year, and is now a clinical supervisor for our community mental health programs. She is passionate about working with foster youth and has deep roots in Youth Homes, as her mother was formerly part of our team as a residential counselor as well.

When Giselle isn't serving the young people of her community, she enjoys spending time with her dog and family, exploring nature, and relaxing and watching movies at home.
