Born in Oxford, England, Danielle worked in recruitment before moving to California 17 years ago when she took a break to raise her young children. She went back to work as a school teacher, and ran a local pottery studio called Pots and Paints. Around this time, Danielle and her husband also became resource parents for foster youth.

Danielle was connected with Youth Homes when she started sharing her pottery with our residential and transition-aged youth, leading her to become a volunteer who coordinated other volunteers for projects and events. From there she officially joined the team as Community Impact & Engagement Manager, and now also manages Youth Homes Thrift Shop in Pleasant Hill.

When Danielle isn't advocating for our community's youth, she enjoys yoga, hiking, creating art, and being with her family.
