Our fall fundraiser, Community Cares, is in full swing here at Youth Homes, and we cannot help but reflect on how lucky we are to have a community who is so ready to show up for our youth through their own amazing efforts! Several fantastic local partners are supporting Youth Homes during the month of November and beyond and make it so easy for you to get involved too. Check out this guide to learn how you can support Community Cares and provide growth and healing opportunities for local youth.

Love + Chocolate

Visit Love + Chocolate in Walnut Creek or their new Rockridge location and look for our delicious Youth Homes chocolate box. In 2022, our TAY service clients did a chocolate tasting at their store and each got to pick their favorite piece to be curated into this special box. Owner, Kristin Lincoln, has a longstanding passion for supporting foster youth and takes great pride in our partnership. “We truly love supporting Youth Homes - it makes us feel good to give back,” she says.

The box is available year-round and 100% of the proceeds are donated back to Youth Homes.

Five Little Monkeys

Five Little Monkeys has seven locations around the Bay Area filled with awesome educational toys, games, and books for children. At Youth Homes we firmly believe that young people learn best through play, and with this partnership you can provide our youth with further learning opportunities while picking out some fun gifts for the little monkeys in your own life!

Until November 15th, mention us in store or use code HOMES2023 online for 15% of your purchase to be donated back to Youth Homes.

Love You More

Love You More in Danville has selected three beautiful pieces of jewelry to benefit Community Cares this season. If you’re in search of any holiday gifts or something sparkly for yourself, visit Love You More and check out the Hammered Heart Necklace, Wonder Wrap Bracelet, and Coco Pearl Earrings. Whenever you wear these special pieces, you can think of the impact you have on local young people.

Mention us in store or use code YH25 online when purchasing the pieces linked above for 25% of your purchase to be donated back to Youth Homes.

Elisa Wen

In October, Elisa Wen Boutique in Danville held an in-store shopping event benefiting Youth Homes and donated a portion of their proceeds back to Community Cares. We had such a blast shopping, meeting their team, and sharing the mission of Youth Homes with their community. Thank you to owner, Elizabeth Wen, and her team for hosting us and their help in changing young lives.

These partners fill our hearts up with gratitude by the way they show their care for our youth, but there is so much more work to be done, and we need your help to make it happen. During these last few weeks of 2023, let’s show our young people how deserving, capable, and cared for they are.

You make this all possible. You are helping raise the adults of tomorrow. You are our community who cares!
