Aftercare
The Family Support Program offers a wrap around, strength-based, family-centered model of support to graduates and those soon to graduate from Youth Homes residential programs and their families. This program promotes and supports permanent families, whether families of choice, extended family or birth families to provide the life-long connections all children need.
The Youth Homes Transition Age Youth Program offers a variety of supportive services for young people 17-25 as they mature into independent adulthood. Funds raised from the Youth Homes Auxiliary, private donors, grants and special events provide a caring safety net, improving the chances of establishing stable adult lives. This safety net includes therapeutic support, mentoring support and material assistance such as clothing for a job interview, a small college scholarship or help furnishing their first apartment. These tangible and interpersonal "boosts" help them survive and thrive as they become self-sufficient adults.
